Hi Newbie question here hope I can explain,

For example I have

. a secondary data source named 'UserInfo'
. under this I have myFields/dataFields/d_tableUserInfo
. and under this @UserInfoName @UserInfoCode and a few more

. in a repeating section I am listing @UserInfoName and @UserInfoCode (set to read only)

when the user clicked Edit they can edit the fields

when they Save I want the button to sumbit to a web service that runs an UPDATE stored proc or something like that

My question is, if I am passing the webservice @UserInfoName and @UserInfoCode how can I let it know which specific record to Update. I am using C# in my webservice currently but it doesn't matter what language you use for a response. Thank you ahead of time for any help you can give.

Hi,
You can actually set the "@UserInfoName" and "@UserInfoCode" in some other temperory fields and pass those values to Webservice.

That means bind your webservice to take values from a teperory fields.
When you want to submit data to webservice put the values that you want to submit in temperory fields using the code and you can call the webservice after this.
