Good morning all,
I am hoping that the gurus here could assist a new InfoPath developer with an issue he's having.
Currently users have a URN-based form (DataEntry.xml) that they use to submit data via a web service. The form's template location is in a non-SSL site (http://site.foo.com), and this site is part of our intranet.
This week it was announced that this process would be moved out of the intranet and would use SSL. IT created "https://site.foo.com", and I published the template to the directory and created a new .xml form.
When I click on this new .xml form for the first time (when it should go to the template and obtain its properties, secondary data source, etc) the user is shown the following message:
InfoPath cannot open the following file C:\blah\blah\ UpdatedDataEntry.xml.
The following form template for the form cannot be found:
https://site.foo.com/infopath/UpdatedDataEntry.xsn
My template uses some managed code, and is set to run at Full Trust
My questions are:
Is there something different that needs to be done when publishing to a directory using SSL?
Is this an IIS setting or directory permission issue?
Has anyone ever encountered anything like before?
Thank you for any assistance you may be able to provide.
