    Graph Control in InfoPath

Is there a way to create a graph in an InfoPath form based on figures that are entered in the form or from a database.  Current there is no Graph control feature in the new version of InfoPath 2007. Is Microsoft planning to add this feature....or is there a graph add on component to download...

    Hey Sam.

No, no such control. There may be some custom active X controls that you could add to do this but nothing in there by default or planned.

InfoPath if for collecting and routing information and is not a reporting tool, but obviously some people try.

Commonly I push all of my form data to SQL and then use Web Reports or SQL to report on or analyze the data.

    Hi Clay,

I use InfoPath views as simple reports...and a graphing control feature would make these reports look more colorful...

    Yah.

Where is the data coming from? What is the source? There may be some other options that can connect to it as well such as Excel, which has charting.
