    I'm sure you guys have heard this a million times but I'm going to try my luck anyway as I really am stuck!

    I'm running Infopath 2003 (could possibly get access to 07) and DO NOT have a Web Service.

    I want to retrieve data from AD for a letter head which includes Name and Tel/Fax numbers. What would be the best option for this bearing in mind I'm not the best coder:

    - Create a Web Service. How would you do this if I had to? Is it in Sharepoint (we currently have Share 2003)

    - Connect to details in the Registry

    - Somehow connect direct to the AD through some code?

    Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks guys

    Hey Alex

    You could create a web service or buy one for 250.00 that is installable

    There are code samples for getting at it from windows.

    The web service is nice especially if you have remote / VPN users since you want their domain authentcated credentials not their local user identity.
