Submitting to Web Server (405 error)

I am trying to get a form to submit to a folder on our network.  The only way I could see to accomplish this is to use the Submit to Web Server (HTTP) option.  When the form is submitted, it says that it was submitted sucessfully, but then when I click More Details, it gives me a 405 error.  We do not have a Sharepoint server, nor do we have .NET installed at the moment.  Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Drew

You have to use code to submit to a file share.

I would look at setting up IIS or a some other simple webserver. Then you can submit via http to your network share.

We have a webserver, and it is running IIS, although we do not have .NET installed at the moment.  .NET was screwed up while we were configuring SMS Server, and we have been unable to get it working.  We are now waiting on some backup software for the server in order to format/reinstall.  When the server is formatted/reinstalled we should be able to get .NET installed without incident.

I guess my question is, Does .NET have to be installed in order to submit via HTTP?

    Thanks,
    Drew

I do not think it does, but there is one way to find out... :)

I think if you have a folder with write permissions that would be what you would need but I am not sure the specifics. I would think those could be found on Microsoft's site.
