Carraige returns are'nt formatting in my Expression box

Sorry if this is a repeat, but I can't find another instance like mine in the Forums....

I want to use a Rich Text Box for a user to enter data in. They will be entering different names (and no, can't build a list box) with a carraige return in between. I set up an Expression box to pull the data into a Print View, but I'm losing my formatting in the translation (the names carry across instead of down). HELP!

Expression boxes, unfortunately, do no support rich text. There's a hack you can do to the XSL file to make them show rich text, but it is not supported and InfoPath will revert your change unless you put your expression box into a Preserve Code Block -- a lot more work than it is worth.

Since your view is strictly a Print View, just use a rich text box, and remove the border from it.

Thanks for the response Greg, but because time waits for noone around here and I wasn't getting a response, I did exactly what you suggested without you even suggesting it yet. How's that for the power of ESP?

Great work! Yes, since print views are not meant for editing, you can get away with a few extra things in them.
