I have a form that has the employee role as the initiator role, and then I have a manager role, Approver Role, and CFO role. My question is this: Can I have a user in multiple roles?
For example, Brian is a manager, but he is also the CFO, therefore he is also an employee. Matt (just in the employee) can open the form (employee role ---confirmed by lower right hand corner in status bar), and submit the form. Brian can open the form his role is a manager, he can then submit, approver will approve, and then brian has to approve the document again because he is the CFO. However when he opens the form his role is manager instead of CFO or Manager and CFO. i am hiding sections of a form based on if the previous person has approved or denied the request and their role. My order of roles are Employee(initiator and default), manager, Approver, CFO. If i switch the order of the roles and put manager after CFO, when brian opens it the first time he is classified as CFO instead of manager.
Is this normal or is there a way to have users in two different role groups?
thanks for the help!
