    output of repeating tables

hi, i need to know if there is any flexibility with how a repeating table is presented on sharepoint. in other words, if i have a one column repeating table that ends up being many many rows, can i adjust which values show up, or in what order they show up, or what would be best of all, is it possible to give each value its own "cell" when being viewed on sharepoint. thanks

There are several aggregation options that you can choose when your promoted properties are the result of several rows. When you are setting up the SharePoing column from the InfoPath designer you should see a list of all of the available aggregation commands. I think you are looking for the "merge" command.

Note that you can't control the order or filter the set. There is the option to do concatenation which will concatenate in the order the values appear in the data source/view.

    Hi Chimera,
U have the following options for ur repeating field.
Go to Tools-->Form Options in the menu.In the Form Options dialog,Select the "Form Library Columns" tab.
Here u can select the Repeating table field and the function to use on Repeating data.

The options available are First,Last,Count and Merge.
The First and Last option provide the first and the last row field value respectively.Merge provides field values of all the rows separated by a space.

If u need to only display a few rows based on some particular logic, then why dont u copy those row fields to a separate repeating table and then promote them using the Merge option specified above.

    Regards,
    Abhishek
