InfoPath Dev

I am new here and I am new in Infopath, so I hope you can help me.
Altogether its fine working with Infopath. I need the forms in connection with a SQL Server Database. So I have a primary connection and several secondary connections. Everythings working well (filling out comboboxes, or writing back to database tables) but I still have 2 big problems:
1. I read the help underhttp://www.infopathdev.com/howto/tutorials/default.aspx?i=9111ef580f95479890fc18fb2c5bac85
but it simply does not work. I actually have no idea why it does not work?!! when I follow the instructions, nothing happens to my fields when I select an entry in the combobox.
Do I have to pay attention if I use a primary or secondary connection?
2. I am adding new entrys to a table in my database. When the user has done this, it does not seem to be possible to change the entry in the form and to re-write it to the table. I think I need the ID of the entry I want to change, but how can I get it?

I hope you can help me with my problems. Sorry for my bad english...

After submiting data to database from infopath form,we can edit the form and we can resubmit the data to database.

Thanks a lot, I will try out the link.
But how can I edit items I already sent to database?Trying to send a already sent item which was edited I just get a message from Infopath that it is not possible to send the edited items again?!

Gotta remove the period. This is a really annoying bug with this forum. Try it now.
