Moving code/template between pcs - now get Security errors

    Hi - I am using Infopath 2007

I have just had a new laptop.  I have moved all my stuff from my old laptop to my new.  My new laptop is set up for synchronising across a network and as I work from home 60% of the time this is annoying and very slow.  So I have had to move my development stuff to a non synchronising part of my disk and try to set up the links between code/form to work correctly....... I have obviously failed.

Now I have an infopath form + code which was working beautifully on my old laptop giving me errors when I get to the first DIM statement.

A first chance exception of type 'System.Security.SecurityException' occurred in Microsoft.Office.InfoPath.Client.Internal.Host.dll

Does anyone have a checklist for all the things (files/references etc) one has to change/check for moving stuff around - I am tearing my hair out and don't know what to try.  I am the only person who uses infopath here (The expert! Ha Ha??!!)- My knowledge of VB/Visual Studio is only what I have picked up while using infopath....

    Any help/suggestions/calming words gratefully received.

    Stay calm Catharine...Breath Deeply....

    You have republished your forms?

    Are the forms full trust?

You are a local Admin on your new PC?

Are you using Visual Studio or just Scripting?

Often a lot of security is part of Internet Explorer settings and Zones.

Those are a few things I could think of.

Thank you for the calming words..... to answer.

No I had not tried to re-publish - I am still developing (a new version of a form published to SharePoint) and really just want to test locally - I get the error when in debug/preview mode - I depress a button with code behind and get the error on the first DIM statement.

I am local Admin on my new PC.

I am Using Visual Studio Tools for Applications - and I have tried to move and rename the project, and change the assembly name.

I haven't knowingly done anything about the 'trust' of the form - how can I check?

Probably one check is can you make a simple form with code successfully?  To answer whether your environment / setup has an issue in general.

If you can then something is buggered specifically in your form.  I would guess in the moving, renaming process. You would need to audit all of this.

Hi again.  I have tried to create a new form with new code and that seems to work ok....

My form was called ApplicationIndex10  I have tried to change it to ApplicationIndex11 - I have changed the name of the project, and the directory the code thinks it is running in....

I noticed today that when I go to preview mode the name of my form changes back to ApplicationIndex10 .....maybe a clue to my problem.  Does that ring any bells ?  There must be some 'link' that I have not updated

Are you running InfoPath 2007? One quick thing to check: do you have SP1? If not, there is a known error where you will get security error.

Thank you.  I have now downloaded the service pack and everything seems to be working.
