    email to multiple

hey guys. i currently have my form set up so that the user picks an email address from a drop down box and then clicks a button to send it to that person/save it to sharepoint. is there anyway to make it so that multiple choices can be made from that drop down box? or if not, is there a way to incorporate a repeating field and have the user insert as many drop down boxes as necessary, pick the right individuals that he/she wishes to email the form to, and then click the button have it be sent to the choosen recipients? thanks

    Hi Chimera,

Have 2 list boxes in ur form.
1)Initially Listbox A contains all the names.Listbox B is empty.

2)Have 2 buttons between these listboxes. One button(>>) transfers the selected names from Listbox A to ListBox B while the other(<<)button does the opposite.

3)The user can select a name from Listbox A,click the >> button to transfer it to Listbox B.Once the user transfers a few names,he can then send mail to all the users in ListBox B.

4)To send mail to all the selected users in ListBox B,go through the above link provided by Kalyan Reddy.

U will need to write code to implement this though.

Now to ur next question,it is possible to have a repeating section containing a dropdown. The user can insert a as many rows, select an individual in each row's dropdown and finally send an email to all of them.
But if the number of users are too many, then the form becomes too long.

    Regards,
    Abhishek

thanks for the help. i followed the link and followed their instructions and can now send to multiple individuals. i have a follow up question though: now when I send the form, the occasionally long table that lists all the individuals receiving the form is of course saved and displayed. is there any way to make it so that this table returns to its default state, of one row and with no selection having been made, everytime it is opened?

or if someone could explain how to code Abhishek's suggestion, that would also solve the problem i explained above...thanks

If anyone can expand on this in detail, i'd be very interested:
