Using system variables (like %HOMEPATH%) for external datasources ?

    Hi everyone

I'd like to know if it'ss possible to point to the default user's dir for the secondary data sources ?

I work with Java and for many reasons i'd like to put my dynamically created XML secondary source file in c:\Documents and settings\<my logon>\

     Thank you for your help

Unfortunately I don't think you can use environment variables in your paths to data sources that are based off XML files.

One workaround would be to make your dynamic data available through a web service but this might not be applicable to your scenario.
