Hi,

My requirement is to change the signature field (it is a text box) to YES when any body signs the form. (It's default value is NO). I am submitting this form to sharepoint server after this operation.

I have created a rule on the textbox in such a way that

condition:  signature6 is not blank

action: 'Set field's value'  Field: Signature

Value :YES

But, this rule is not applying on the textbox even after signing the form. It is submitting only NO value  to the sharepoint server.

What would be the reason for this?

My first question is that how is your text box your signature field?

Is it just someone types their name in?   

Presuming it is, your rule runs from the signature6 box, but the only way it would noy work is if it has a default value it will not trigger the rule when the field is populated for real.  If it does have a default value then set the condition as to where the field is not equal to the default value.
