What exactly do you mean by "XML InfoPath file" and "programmatically"?

Are you talking about reading an InfoPath form file (the resulting XML file saved from a form template) outside of InfoPath (in some other application)?

Are you talking about reading the form manifest.xsf file?

Are you talking about writing code within your form template to access node values within the current XML form?

    Hi....

ok, u know that an InfoPath form is .xml file, and it contains xml nodes (which are data Fields).. these data fields or xml nodes have names like field1, field2, field3 and so on..

what i'm searching for is how could i read the xml file and get all xml nodes and get their names (field1, field2, ..)? i want to do that programmatically, meaning i want to write a VB or C# code in an ASPX page that do all that (reading all xml nodes and getting their name and their values)!!

    thanks..

    Gotcha. Thanks for the clarification.

ASP.NET uses System.Xml -- which is the same thing that InfoPath 2007 coding uses (i.e. the non-backward compatible IP03 code). You can find information on how to program for this across the Internet, but here's a good starting point: http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/xml/bb291078.aspx
