All Items view not showing all items

    WSS 3.0 (2007) with InfoPath 2003

Made updates to my form, re-published to existing form library, and now when users submit I can see the total count go up for the Doc Library when I view via "All Site Content."  However, when I go into all of the different views for this Doc Library, including All Items, I can only see 142 out of the 300+ submitted docs.  Anyone seen this before?

I have rechecked my submit to SharePoint Data Connection file path and it checks out.  Also, remember I can see the total count go up each time I view the Doc Library from "All Site Content," so I know the forms are getting submitted......I just can't see them.  I have Full Permissions on the Site and Library settings.

In you library go to Modify Columns and Settings, under Views click on All Items view. Scroll down and check if under Item Limit there is a limit set what could cause that you don't see all the files.

Re: All Items view not showing all items

I have a smilier situation that I am hoping some one can help me out with.  I added the share point User list by using the sharepointGUID = "UserInfo". Worked fine until my user list got really big. So now its only working or people whose last names are from A to C (will pick up last name Brandy but will not pick up Smith). My guess is that its only getting the first 100.  Now since I cannot see this share point list to be able to do modify settings and columns, how would i change the data connection so that I get 100 plus?

    Thanks

you can´t. the dataconnection always takes only the information coming from the view you chose as the default view. so to make it happen to see all the items you need to update the view on sharepoint. then you will be able to see all users.

So is it possible to access the sharepointGUID="User Info" view to modify the default view? if yes how?

    Thanks

    Hi Alphamax,

We are having the same issue with our InfoPath 2003 forms.  Does anyone have a solution for this?

Don't have a solution but I did a workaround which was to create a sharepoint list and manually add my users to that list. Not the best way but....

    Thanks

    Hi Alphamax,

I found the solution.  The item limit that must be increased is the view for People and Groups:

    <Your Site>/_layouts/people.aspx

I increased the view limit to 2000 and it now works.

Pretty cool.  Dont see a place to alter the number displayed though.  I tried to do it in SP designer 2007 however, I get the error message "files in _layouts folder are not available for editing". How did you modify yours?

    Thanks

    Hi Alphamax,

This is something that the site collection admin has access to do.  Do you have those rights?
