    Linking to Contacts/Names in Outlook

    How do I do this...

    1. I need to be able to select someone from the Outlook contacts/names
    2. Put the name chosen into one of the form fields

    Thanks, Dave

    Hello

I think you cannot directly connect Outlook address book to Infopath. Create a Db out of the Address book and then try creating a Infopath Form with Db as Data Connection and then can show the Name into the Form fields.

Here is some sample code to export contacts to an XML file that then could be utilized as a datsource.http://www.outlookcode.com/codedetail.aspx?id=73

Another method would be to export contacts to Sharepoint and then access the information from a portal connection.
