I have innstalled the webservice, with no problems but when I try to use GetMyInfo I get the following

Hey Rico. How are you using the web services? Are you setting them up as receive data connections in the InfoPath UI?

Once you put in the http://servername/qdabrawebservice/aduserinfo.asmx you should see all three methods listed. I would recommend you add all three seperately to a blank form and then display all of the returned data and play with them.

GetMyInfo will just return the username of the user.

GetUserInfo takes a username and returns all of the keys. You have to use the filters to get exactly what you need.

IsMemberof needs the group name and then returns true or false.

I am using the webservice on a Windows 2003 server (sp2) running only IIS and the webservice. The server is member of our domain.

When I try running http://localhost/adservice/aduserinfo.asmx I only se to services GetMyInfo and GetUserInfo and only GetUserInfo works.

I have tried to install the webservice on a test server in VMWare I still only se GetMyInfo and GetUserInfo, but here boot are working fine?????

Were confusing- any ideas

How did you obtain the web service? Do you have the whole DBXL suite or just the web service? Do you have the latest version?

So on VMWare they both work fine?  Maybe there is a configuration issue.

I only got the Webservice. I obtain it for 4 month ago. If there is a newer version how do I get this.

And yes there must be some configuration I have missed, but I will have a closer look in to it.
