    Force a Save on Submit

    Hey Guys,

How is it going, not been here in a while.

I have an InfoPath form I am integrating with K2 BlackPearl.  I have a pretty simple problem.  I have some Rules that set some values OnSubmit prior to the xml of the form being submitted to a web service.  The OnSubmit has been configured to close the IP form.  Problem is I think the setting of the values make the form dirty (but it is not consistent).  The result is that when the form is closed the user is prompted to save the XML which is not needed as the XML has already be submitted the instance will be deleted by K2 from the form library.  Worse yet, K2 process instances will start bombing because the user has not closed the IP form which has placed a lock on the XML instance in the form library.

Is there any way to kick off a save or to stop Save Prompt from appearing OnSubmit?

    Thanks,
    Jason

I believe you would want to turn off save and save as in the form options.

    Clay,

That was exactly what I needed.

    Thanks,
