Rich Text Editor for other browsers?

Do browser-enabled forms really only allow rich text editing via IE?

    Has anyone found a workaround?

Further, does anyone know why in the world Microsoft chose to implement this "feature" this way?

Have you found an answer to this yet?  From my research there are no work arounds for browser based InfoPath forms.  See my post on the memory leak with the rich text editor.

No, I didn't find any workarounds (or answers). It's a little embarrassing making users write in bbcode, what with it being the year 2007 and all.

Thanks for the memory leak posting...

Keep in mind that MS originally wasn't planning to ship support for rich text controls. My recollection was that this was an 11th hour feature add.
