is there a way to add spell check in an infopath web form?

Not in InfoPath. Your browser could contain third-party add-ins that support spell checking. However, if this requires additional attributes on the input controls you're out of luck.

Use both IE Spell and http://www.ie7pro.com/.  IE Spell has an issue where it clears out the entire text box when it corrects more than one word.  ie7pro doesn't spell check rich text boxes.  That is why you need two of them.

If someone has a better solution let me know.

I'm looking at the same thing. Is there no way to add a spell checker to the rich text boxes using Visual Basic?

Even if the title of this article talks about "...displayed via XmlFormView..."  you can use the same technique if you don´t want to use the XmlFormView-Control. I have realized this a few months ago and it works pretty well...

The problem with the suggestions in the above link is that a lot of people, myself included, cannot find the files specified in the workaround that we are supposed to edit.

Since the old sharepoint forms didn't have spell check, I always encourage people to use google toolbar in my department. The only thing I think is that if there is a whole lot of text, it will tell you that it could only check the the first xx words. I think that was google that does that. Also, I personally have started using Google's browser more and more and it underlines text as you go which is awesome.
