    Can not open form template

    I recently added a header in my form template.  When I try to open the form or template I now recieve an error and it will not open.  The exact message is below.  Hopefully someone can help me solve this without having to start the template from scratch.  Thanks in advance.

    Form template: http://hqlab/CSA%20Test%20Reports/Forms/template.xsn
    The form definition (.xsf) file cannot be opened because of an error.
    The file cannot be validated by the XML Schema.

    Element '{http://schemas.microsoft.com/office/infopath/2003/solutionDefinition}header' is unexpected according to content model of parent element '{http://schemas.microsoft.com/office/infopath/2003/solutionDefinition}printSettings'.

    Line 141, Position 17
        <xsf:header>
    ----------------^

    Your XSN is just a .CAB file that is renamed to .XSN.

    Change the extension to .CAB, extract all the files into a folder, edit manfiest.xsf with notepad, and remove the <xsf:header> section, then save.

    Now right-click manifest.xsf and choose Design. You should be able to get the form open in the designer now. Save it back as an XSN.

    Maybe your header had some unsupported content? Try creating a simple header with just some text "abc" and see if that works... then go back and try to re-add your full header.

    It worked.  Thanks a lot.

    Cool! Not sure what was wrong with the original header--but hopefully you were able to rebuild your header the way you intended!
