    How can I set display value in textbox?

    Hi, all

    My problem is

    I have 2 views. One for edit and the other one for view only.

    I have same repeating table those are from my main data source.

    In edit view, I have one column that I set for dropdownlist control in repeating table, and I fix value and display text of dropdownlist such as

    value = 1 , display name = xxxxx

    value = 2 , display name = yyyy

    ......

    I read view, I change dropdownlist column to textbox column so the display value on textbox is come from value in dropdownlist.

    How can I get it from display name of dropdownlist and set to changed textbox?

    Cheers.

    Hi

    Unless I misunderstand you just make sure the field that is the DDlist in the edit view is the same field as the text-box control on the view only view.

    So once you have picked Value = 1 and hence Name = xxxx on the edit form

    You have @Value on the view only form as a text box, and @Name as a text box also.  That way you display the result of the dd-list box in a text box on a different view.

    Cheers

    Hi

    No code, just make the fields the same but the controls different

    I hope this makes it clear

    Cheers
