Is there any way to change the way the command menu describes things? Or perhaps as a "remove last item" button in the same style as an "insert button".

Are you talking about the InfoPath toolbar that shows when you fill the form out in the browser? It is configurable via the Form Options (Browser Category). However I believe it only allows you to show/hide the toolbars. If you want to customize this UI, your best bet is to probably host the InfoPath XmlFormView control in a custom ASPX page. This is a very advanced topic, however, and I will not be able to provide an example (but you could look it up on MSDN if you're willing to go through the trouble).

When I say "command menu", I mean the menu that appears when clicking the box with the arrow on it on the top left of repeating sections and repeating table rows. I would like users that have no experience with InfoPath to easily remove sections and rows. The default text for the removal option is tiny, and reads like something a coder would say to another coder if you use a traditional programming style name for the section.

Double Click on the Repeating Table/Section to open its Properties

In the Data tab , Under Default Settings Click Customize Commands

In the next window select anything you want to change in the Action drop down

Change the Command Name under Insert Section Menu

Click OK to save chnages
