    MOSS 2007 Expand/Collapse "Feature"

I have some form library views that are sorted and grouped (i.e. there are headings with expand/collapse buttons).

When I open a form in InfoPath by clicking on it from the form library, all the groups revert to being collapsed. Is there any way to prevent SharePoint from doing this? I still want the groupings collapsed by default, just not have that state reset whenever a form opens.

You would need to add a field to store the state you want and then set up your sections to reference this field and act accordingly.  InfoPath by default resets each time it is opened.  To override this you must put in some explicit rules in the Open Rules or setup the sections to check for state and then act accordingly.

So obviously a new form would be blank or the default value, but when submitted have it update the state field right before the submit action.  Then have rules that when the form opens, if the state has been submitted previously switch to a view or have the sections defaults, etc.
