I created a new blank form and added a date picker to it.

Now I change my region settings from English(US) to German(Germany) and open the form. The date picker now shows the date in the correct format i.e German(Germany).

But I have an old form which also has a date picker.

When I change my region settings in control panel to German(Germany) and open the form, the date is shown in incorrect format i.e English(US).

I am not able to figure out why the date is not shown in the German(Germany) format.

Hope any one here can help me out.

I dont think on just changing the regional settings for the old form will change the date. You have to select the data again and save it.

 Is it setting the date to german when you are opening the old form and changing the date after you made the regional changes

Sorry for  replying so late. I got the solution.

There are some date formats which are marked as asterix(*). These date formats are only bound to the operating system.

Hence only these dates will be updated after you change the regional settings.
