I try to fill up a time field with a rule: @from_Hour = number("08:00") I recieve a 'NaN' error on my form.

How can I avoid this error?

the form works against an SQL table.
the data format of the field is datetime.
the format on the form is identical to the whatever is typed in "99:99".

You are using number() there, you dont need to use that. Just set "08:00:00". It will work.

Still not working! some background information: I use a datafield AMPM to determin start en stop hour. In the form there are 3 option buttons for AM / PM / All day.  according to the choice, i try to fill in a default start and stop time (that can be overwritten) with a rule. After the rule, I get the 'invalid data' indicator, instead of the the correct time. If I type in the same time as is shown in the field, the form accepts it. Any idea?
