    Submittion succesful poup box - can i stop it

    I have a web form that is submitted. This works fine but when the forms sumbits works the user gets a pop up box saying this. You then have to click ok to get redirected to the form libray. Is it possiable to stop this pop up box and just redirectto the form library once the submit is successful?

    Thanks

    Hi Buzz,

    Can you give the details who are giving the alert message when form submitted successfully? I mean that alert message is from your code right?

    If you want to stop that successful message when form is once submitted then you have to keep one condition.

    if(thisXDocument.IsNew)
    {
     thisXDocument.UI.Alert(“Your successful message”);
    }

    Hope this helps you.

    Hi Shiva, I guess that he is talking about the standard message box which appears when you submit a form via a data connection. Yes it is possible to get rid of this message but then you have to use code. here is the solution: var objDataAdapter = XDocument.DataAdapters("NameOfDataConnection"); objDataAdapter.Submit(); XDocument.SetDirty(false); // Bypasses "Do you want to save" prompt Application.ActiveWindow.Close();
    Listen to Motörhead cos they play Rock'n Roll :)
