Hi!

I have a form where there is an update button in each repetitive section, and I don't know if there is a way to create a button which force the other buttons to click. Like a 'massive update'.

Does anyone know how to do that?

If you are using code, this should be easy.  If you're using rules, it will be difficult (in fact, I don't know how to do it).

So, if you are using rules, extract the code that you are running in the OneRow_OnClick() event so that it is a method that takes a parameter depending on what row it is being called from.  Then in the OnClick event of your "Update All" button, iteratively call this OneRow_OnClick() method with the parameter for each of the rows.

This is the most straightforward way to accomplish this, but you should look to see if there is a way to handle updating all rows in one web service or database call so that you don't have to take the performance hit of seperate calls for each of the rows.  That is, if you assume that you must call a web service or database for each one of your rows.

I tried that a time ago, but I don't know which is the parameter I need. I suppose it must be something like a "row ID", but I don't know which's that parameter. I think it can work with some code, but I don't know how to refer to all the rows.
 

PS: I'm using Javascript.
