    Hiding Fields with Conditional Formatting

I have a field named "institution" that I would like to hide if these conditions are met.

    "institution" is not blank AND

User's current rold is not equal to "Training"

I have published this InfoPath document to a sharepoint library, but this conditional format does not work. I have created the User Role for our domain\Training department. Any suggestions?

Have you verified if the conditional formatting works with just the institution being blank?  It could be that one of the conditions triggers this but not the other.  Have you gotten role based forms to work before?

    Followup:

I have no formal Infopath training, but I found what I consider a work around to the issue I was having. I added a new "default" role by adding the domain\domain users group as a Role. I then added the domain\training role and applied the above formatting and that seems to have fixed this issue. Maybe this is what I should have been doing all along...
