Hi,

 I have reated a data connection from a sharepoint list.  I use this list to populate 3 dropdown controls.  Is there any way to get the list sorted a-z.  When I connect to a database sources I can use sql and there is no problem but there does not seem to be a way with sharepoint lists to do this.  If anybody has a answer I would appreciate it.

Hi JR,  

Have you tried modifying the default view in SharePoint and making that list sorted by the column you want A-Z?  I think the drop down populated by ShP is going to take the ordering of the columns in the list from SharePoing in the default view.
