    Task Pane code error

    I am testing out a fully trusted form, but my task pane is giving me a Permission Denied error.  This is the line of code that is giving me an error.

        window.location.reload( false );

    I have a task pane and I use this to refresh the task pane so users know which view they are in.  This works with the domain level form, but I am not sure how to get it working with the fully trusted form.  Any ideas?

    Hi mhudsonjr,

    That's crazy that you get a Permission Denied error after elevating the trust level.  I don't know how to solve this problem, but we have seen some weird bugs in the taskpane recently.  See this blog post: http://www.infopathdev.com/blogs/matt/archive/2007/05/31/InfoPath-bug-with-linking-external-files-from-custom-task-pane-HTML.aspx

     If you think this is a bug and can get a consistent repro, I will forward it to Microsoft to add it to their list.

    This code gives an error everytime.  I have tried:

    window.location.reload( false );

    document.location.reload(false);

    they both give me permission denied error every time.  As soon as I switched from domain level to full trust this line gave me an error.  I can send you my task pane if you would like to forward that to Microsoft.   Thanks for your help.

    I have found an interesting bug about this.  This code works now in parts of my task pane.  Here is the example Code.

     function refresh()
        {
        window.location.reload( false );
        }

    //When I Run this line with the Refresh() function it gives a permission denied error..
    <ul class=plain>
        <li><a class=p href="http://www.infopathdev.com/forums/AddPost.aspx?PostID=21474#" OnClick="refresh();if (View.Name != 'Home') View.SwitchView('Home');return false;">Home</a>
        </li>
    </ul>

    //When I Run this line it works

         <li><a class=p href="http://www.infopathdev.com/forums/AddPost.aspx?PostID=21474#" OnClick="refresh();doSave();">Close and save</a>
        </li>

    The error started when I switched to Full Trust....This error has just confused me to no end.  Any ideas??
