    IP forms rendered in browser does not support the popup dialogue box for field validation.  Is there a workaround for display error messages?

    Since the Forms Server does not let you show modal UI, your best bet is to probably implement your own modeless in-flow "dialog" with conditional formatting by using a section that only gets shown when you have an error.
