Is there a way to actually reformat the currency of a numeric field? 04-26-2006 08:42 AM In reply to Ted Fitch Joined on 02-27-2006 Posts 567 Re: Field Format on drop down list selection Mark as Not AnswerMark as Answer... Reply Contact Hi Taffman,Have you tried using conditional formatting rules to do this?http://office.microsoft.com/en-ca/assistance/ha011227821033.aspxYou should be able to do what you want with conditional formatting as you would just test for the value of the selection they have made in the drop down list and then format accordingly. 04-26-2006 09:47 AM In reply to Taffman Joined on 04-24-2006 Posts 102 Re: Field Format on drop down list selection Mark as Not AnswerMark as Answer... Reply Contact I dont think this will help. All conditionally formatting will do is format colour or font. I need to change the currency type from example from a default e.g. €0.00 to $0.00 based on currency selection? 04-26-2006 10:03 AM In reply to Ted Fitch Joined on 02-27-2006 Posts 567 Re: Field Format on drop down list selection Mark as Not AnswerMark as Answer... Reply Contact I'm sorry, I thought I had seen within the conditional formatting that you could format the number that way. I know there is an easy way to do this, I'll post back if I can find it. 04-26-2006 10:22 AM In reply to Taffman Joined on 04-24-2006 Posts 102 Re: Field Format on drop down list selection Mark as Not AnswerMark as Answer...
