    System.Security.SecurityException Error---Very Crucial

    Dear Gurus

I have a form in infopath 2003 using mangaged code written in C#.NET. On clicking a button value from a Access database is populated in a textbox.the form was running well before when my hard drive crashed. After recovery and again installing the VS.NET 2003 with all its requirement I have got a problem. The problem is when i click on the button it throws an exception saying that System.Security.SecurityException Request Failed and ..... And then it points to the line number of the code where it actually makes connections and gets values from the database. On running the form the following message is shown. I give the form a full trust and sign with a digital signature.

     " />

It is a very strange situation for me and I am still unable to resolve it. Please help me in this regard.

    thanks in  advance

    Hi Curious,

You will have to run the MSI or the JS script again to install the form into InfoPath's register.  I guess this was wiped out with your hard drive.

    Dear Matt thanks

thanks for your consideration. Would you further elaborate which MSI file or JS File to run and how...??

    Hi,

I forgot that with a digital signature you don't have to install the form to your machine - I have never done Full Trust with a digital signature before, oops!  So my guess now is that the digital signature got some how corrupted.  I would redo the whole signing process if you can.

    Dear Matt,

I have digitally signed the form but still the same situation. Tried it on another machine again the same situation. The problem arises for every form which was digitally signed whether it is done in VS.NET 2003 or not. As you stated the problem could be with the digital signature. And I don't know how to get around it...............................

    Hi Curious,

Sorry we haven't been much help here - you could try installing the form to each machine, that should gurantee that it is Full Trust.  Search the Net for "InfoPath 2003 full trust msi" and you should find plenty of information.

Full Trust solutions is a bit of a pain especially in InfoPath 2003 (in 2007 you can actually preview full-trust solutions without signing/deploying them first).
In any event, the first error message was asking you to install the solution on your machine.

The way to do it is by using the RegForm.exe tool from the InfoPath 2003 SDK which you can download here: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=351f0616-93aa-4fe8-9238-d702f1bfbab4&displaylang=en

    Good luck!
