View SOAP Message With Fiddler (Or Any Other Tracing Software)

I am trying to get an InfoPath 2003 form to submit successfully to an ASP.NET 2.0 web service, both running locally on my machine.  I am running into problems, however, and thought I should start by viewing the SOAP message sent from InfoPath to the server.  I have installed the SOAP Toolkit, SoapTrace.NET, and Fiddler but still can't seem to "catch" the SOAP message.  Most likely, I don't have the programs setup correctly, but I have tried tweaking the ports and still haven't had any luck.  The default settings for all three apps is to listen for the client on port 8080 and the server on port 80.

If anyone could help me out, I would really appreciate it.

     Thanks.

Hi writhe and welcome to the forums!

Fiddler is a great tool and I have used it many times, but I do not know the answer to your question.

If your InfoPath project is a managed code projects, however, you could simply use the debugger to step  through the code until the moment before the web service is submitted and see the XML that it is sending at that point.  Likewise, you could do the same on the server if you have access to the source code.
