    Digital Signature/Certificate

    Hi,

I have infopath form with full trust , digitally signed. For my application i want to use ActiveX content (file system object) from infopath.

In my application i am adding some information to the infopath form and sending it through mail to the client machine while i am trying to open it , infopath shows, full trust is not available and while i open the infopath in design mode , signature file information is missing, can you please tell me how can i over ride this problem. is there any way to add a digital signature programatically after altering the content of original infopath form , before sending it as an email attachment.

if my client is offline or web service in other machine is down i want to write the filled information to the local hard disk. From original template i am able to do all this, but after altering the content programatically , i dont know what happens to the digital signature!

Hope some one can help me.

    Thank you.

    Re: Digital Signature/Certificate

    Hi

As i understand it when a form or a section of the form is digiatally signed it is intrinsically linked to the data it is signing, actions such as saving or changing field values etc, change the underlying dat and hence the digital signature is no longer valid as the data has changed.

    Sorry if this doesn't help

    Cheers Adam

    Hi Cheers Adam,

As you said it will change the status if we made any modification to the existing template. Thanks for your comment.

In my question i asked how to give a form full trust to run active X controles using javascript or vbscript, one method i have find out and using is

create a template and add scripts into that, give full trust using form options, then install that template as URN based template using microsoft indopath sdk form registration tool.

then send  xml files created based on the particular template. it will work.

    Regards.
