How to create setup for infopath templates.

    Hi,

I am trying to create an infopath based online/offline evaluation system, for this i am using around 10 different infopath templates, my requirment is i need a windows setup like application to install all these templates to the client machines.

Currently what i am doing is, i will just open required template in the client machine then the local infopath application will store the details of that template in its local cache.

So later i can open the saved version of that template (saved in .xml format) from the client machine.

Insted of doing this i want to create a setup to install infopath templates in client machine , please advise me that where can i find such installer tool, or what i have to do for the same.

    Regards

    Thank you.

Hi premsonbaby and welcome to the forums!

What your're looking for is the regform utility. It is included with the InfoPath 2003 SDK, but I haven't worked with it much in InfoPath 2007. We also have this pretty cool form that will construct the command-line input for creating your MSI. Check it out at the link below: http://www.qdabra.com/proddetail.asp?prod=QRegForm
