Spell Check Problem and Large Drop-Down Lists

I have a drop-down list box that is pulling approximately 3500 items from an XML file; the data is cached locally as a resource file for offline use. I've noticed an interesting problem. Spell check works fine above the drop-down list, but works intermittently below the list. To clarify intermittently, InfoPath rarely shows the red underline, and only sometimes recognizes a misspelled word when I run spell check. Does anyone have any ideas why this is happening and how I might resolve it.

I’m developing the form in InfoPath 2007 and saving it in InfoPath 2003 format.

    Thanks.

Hi kieriosity and welcome to the forums! You have come to the right place for InfoPath questions!

Wow, I think you have found a bug.  Maybe the spelling parser is just taking a really long time to get down to the part of the XSL that is below the drop-down list, since it is so long.  If you can reply with a consitent repro situation, we will forward to Microsoft so that they can fix it in the next release.
