    Suggestion to Smart Combo Box

Is it possible that you develop an advanced smart combo box(SCB), which allows to connect to an database connection or web services?
If so, it will be extremely helpful for our project.
Right now, the SCB only connect to an XML file and it is static.
However, in our case, we will need this list of SCB to be dynamic.
If a user add a record to database, and a developer has to export the data from database to the connected XML file, then the SCB will mean nothing.
Please let me know whether there is an alternative way to make the list dynamic or you will consider develop an advanced SCB.
    Thanks.

    Hi Troy0118,
Thanks for the comment. This is because of the namespace constraint. It's something we have looked at but most of our time has been spent working on the Database Accelerator Web service Suite which helps you connect forms to databases. Are you using the SCB for multi-select or type-ahead? If you only need multi-select, InfoPath 2007 has that feature and with our database accelerator, it's easy to realize your dream. Let me know if you'd like to talk about it.
    Cheers!

Re: Suggestion to Smart Combo Box

    Hi Patrick,
I am using SCB for type-ahead function. The problem is that my list contain about 1500 records and it is hard to find by using list box.
Since the SCB cannot work with a database connection, I have changed it back to a list box.
Is there any way I can work this out?
    Thanks in advance.
