    [Resolved] Rudimentary Animation, v1.0

    hi,

    I have a question about your example. I don't understand why is this code in jscript page:

    function btnZoom::OnClick(eventObj)
    {
    XDocument.View.Window.TaskPanes.Item(0).HTMLDocument.parentWindow.startZoom();
    }

    function btnShake::OnClick(eventObj)
    {
    XDocument.View.Window.TaskPanes.Item(0).HTMLDocument.parentWindow.startShake();
    }

    What they do I don't understand. It's just for have an action on the button click or it's necessary for that work! I not a guru in jscript.

    Thanks for your answer? Please use simple word because i don't speak fluently english

    The functions you are looking at call from the form code (JScript) into the task pane code (also JScript). The reason being is that the task pane can work with timers, and the form code cannot (unless you are using a .NET language).

    So basically, the OnClick handler calls a function in the task pane code.

    Hi Thierry, sorry for the delay in getting back to you. Have you looked at the object model for HTMLDocument? The startZoon and startShake are not specific to the solution.
