    Hi Sylvain,
I'm confused by the question. You want to submit a form from a Subfolder to the same Form Library (one folder up)? Is that correct? You should be able to do this using a little code to specify a relative path of ..

Re: Submit in SubFolder + InfoPath + FormServer

I have a very similar question, but I'm not using FormServer.

I'm prototyping an "electronic traveler" system for our manufacturing department.  We want to track a complex, multi-step manufacturing process for various products, which have similar but not identical processes.  If I can develop a "universal" traveler form that would simplify things for us.

In order to keep data management simpler, I was thinking of organizing the submitted InfoPath forms into subfolders in the Sharepoint document library.  I can create a subfolder in the library, navigate to that folder, and click New to create a new InfoPath form, but when I submit the form, it is posted to the top-level of the document library.  This makes sense given that the submit location logic is embedded in the form itself.

Is there a way to 1) identify the relative folder path in the document library for the newly-created form that hasn't yet been posted to the library, and 2) modify the submit location based on that?

Basically I'm looking for a "do what I expect" approach here -- I create a subfolder, and the newly-created form should be saved back to where I created it from.

As far as I can tell, there's no way to do it.

    Re: Get Infomation about InfoPath

    Hi,

    Welcome to the Forums.

  • InfoPath provides a robust, flexible, easy-to-use design environment that enables the creation of dynamic forms that information workers can use to gather information, either for formal ongoing business processes or for informal team projects.
  • The same rich InfoPath client also provides an application environment in which information workers can complete forms quickly and easily.
  • InfoPath then connects this information to organizational business processes and makes that information easy to reuse through its support of XML, customer-defined schemas, and Web services.
  • Also verify below link for more information.
