"Use the '[Me]' Filter with a Promoted property"

    Hi

We used the article "Use the SharePoint '[Me]' Filter with a Promoted Property" in Infp. 2003 to filter out only those users' forms who are currently logged on. But in 2007 it gives an error - "Filter vslue is not a text string". Any clues on how to acheve this.

    Thanks

Welcome to our forum! There have been many changes to the way SharePoint 2007 handles users. Where do you see the error? In SharePoint or InfoPath?

In sharepoint, when you try and set the filter property for the ID column.......

Hmm. This should just work. It may be a SharePoint bug. Be sure you're running the latest Office 2007 Beta 2 TR.

    Hi

In MOSS 2007, [Me] is a "people and group" data type. Whenever there is any filter for [Me], other than "people and groups" data type then there is an error as "Filter value is not a text string".

We are working an infopath 2007 using latest office Beta 2 TR, and it does not have any data type as "people and groups".

This works fine for "created by" and "modified by" field (Which are people and group data type) and this should have to work for [Me] also.

Any idea on how to achieve this...

    Thanks in Advance,
    Tagore
