    Deploy method?

Has anyone used this method, and if so, how/where does it get called?

I am using InfoPath and Sharepoint 2007. When uploading my form to sharepoint via the admin panel I get a message indicating that I need to use the "Deploy method". I am a bit confussed about this as I have upload the same form 2 other times without this method, now all of a sudden it requests that I call a special method. Very strange.

    Hello
Did you publish the Infopath Form template to a Form Library in the Sharepoint

This is odd. I also thought you could just upload via the web UI. Try publishing through the InfoPath publish wizard. The wizard will also recognize if your site runs InfoPath Forms Server.

I wanted to post the "resolution" to this problme in case anyone ran into this...

I found out from Microsoft that this is a "bug" in the Beta2. They indicated that it would be fixed in the tch refresh but there is a work around for now.

    1) run iisreset on the sharepoint server.
    2) in the Central Admin go to Operations > Solution Management.
    3) Select the solution file that failed and choose Deploy Solution.
    4) Once it has successfully deployed, you may need to go back and upload the template again in order for the changes in the form to take effect.

This has worked for me a umber of times already.
