Just wondering if the DropDown list box control now natively supports type-ahead? I purchased the custom control here, but am having issues with it (and support is so-so), and would rather have a native control.

Type ahead is not supported in Office 2007 Beta 2.
But yes this would be a very good feature to have.

InfoPath 2007 introduces the "Combo Box" control -- which is essentially a Drop-Down List Box control with additional features.

This control DOES allow the user to type into it--BUT it does not presently do type-ahead features, such as showing an increasingly filtered list of options as you type, nor does it filter the list when you expand the options based on the value you've already typed.
