    automatic faxing in v.2007

I have to ask my question one more time since we have a new version. Does anyone see a way to automate faxing and bypass the MS fax wizard; e.g. a document could contain a list of fields containing names and fax numbers and the fuction would send the document to each of these numbers. I know there's an email/submit function that does this....any way to extend this to faxing?

I know that faxing is not a priority of developers and software beta testers. Nobody in that group would ever be caught dead sharing documents over an analogue line. The problem is that the rest of the business world almost exlusively uses fax lines. They're totally secure and hippa compliant. We need to be able to distrute documents that way.

I have to believe MS Exchange supports fax connections. We use Castelle SMTP Server. Exchange.org or Slipstick.

    So if I follow you.....

I could use the submit function to send the form to a list of email addresses that have been predefined in exhange to redirect to the fax server...???

I'm not sure how I would define exchange mail addresses and pass the fax numbers from my document as wildcards. Sounds prickly. I'll have to think about it.
