    I am very new to InfoPath. I am trying to create a form that will allow a user to select a "status" (Approved, Disapprove, etc...) and have an image (check, X, etc...) display in another define field

    Hi Greg and welcome to our forum!
    Try adding the image into a section which has Display Conditions to either filter the image you want to display or show hide based on some status. To get to the display conditions tab, double click the section and select display tab and then click conditions. Good luck!
