    Populating Drop-Downs from other libraries

I have two infopath forms & libraries on my sharepoint that contain related data. One library is used to track revisions/additions to the original form in the other library. Due to legal constraints, the original data must stay intact. I can populate a drop down to set key fields in the 2nd form to the values that they contain in the first form, but here is the problem.

The original forms are moved to sub-folders in the library once they reach a certain age. Is there a way to show values from the forms in these sub-folders in the drop down?

If your forms have a very specific pattern of transition, then you might be able o program for that. So if you don't find it in the main list, then you would have your code look for it in the most likely subfolder. I'm not sure exactly what would need to be done, but you should be able to do so.

If the form transition is more random, then this will likely not work.
