    GetListItems Sharepoint WebService

    Hi all,
    I need to display in a Infopath Form the content of some lists in a Sharepoint Web Site. I tried to use a Data connection for Sharepoint List but it doesn't return the content of the lists. So i tried to use Web Service and in particolar Lists Sharepoint Web Service and the function GetListItems. But Infopath gives me the following error:

    The SOAP response indicates that an error occurred on the server:

    Exception of type Microsoft.SharePoint.SoapServer.SoapServerException was thrown.
    <detail>
    <errorstring xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/sharepoint/soap/">The root element is missing.</errorstring>
    </detail>

    Can you give me more info about using this webservice?Thank u.

    Hi Reddy, thank you for your answer...
    I can't add the data connection for the sharepoint web method GetListItems...I'd like to know why it gives me that error...is it mandatory to publish the template on Sharepoint?

    Thank u
