I am attempting to port my IP app working with VS.NET 2003/ASP.NET 1.1 to VS2005/ASP.NET 2.0. I have IP working connecting to WS with methods which return DataSets.
Now with VS2005/ASP.NET2.0 I get errors attempting to connect at design-time to WS. Complaints are on methods returning DataSets. We are talking about a message like:
/schema/complexType[1][@name='...']/sequence[1]/element[1],
Undeclared XSD element:'
http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema}-schema'. I understand this will be because of changes in the format exported from VS2005/ASP.NET2.0 for a dataset not being acceptable to IP.
I have done a lot of searching, including:

I am unsure from some of those posts whether anybody/everybody got it working.
I have tried everything, but nothing works for me. In particular:
* IP Toolkit for VS 2005 made no difference. Didn't expect it to much, as I don't use integration, I just use IP design-mode on files.
* Office 2003 SP2. Hmmm. Attempting to install this exits with "you don't have the version installed". Well, I don't; the only bit I have of Office 2003 is IP 2003, and it doesn't seem to recognise that (is there a file for just latest IP 2003 SP?) [Hold on, I just looked at my IP Help | About, I'm (11.6565.6568) SP2 anyway.]
So, does anyone helpful know, can I get IP to work with WebMethods returning DataSets from VS 2005/ASP.NET 2.0 --- yes or no? As one post said elsewhere, this is a pretty reasonable question to expect an answer to from MS now that VS 2005 is out there....
