From Infopath to Access via xml/xsd

    Hi all,
I have a big problem to create a Db Access from an Infopath Xml. If I import this Xml in an empty mdb, I retrieve my tables in it without fields parameters (all fields are text fields). In other words, if in Infopath I have a false/true field (for checkbox), on Access db this field appair as generic text field. I have also tryed to use xml and xsd files (generated from Infopath file menu) without solution of problem. I suppose that Infopath Xml have not reference to Xsd file, but I don't know how to solve this question. Can you help me?
    Thanks in advance. Raoul

p.s.: sorry for my english, I am italian

I am not very familiar with Access, but I know InfoPath does the same thing when you create a secondary data source to an XML file... it makes all fields "text" fields. I expect the reason they do this is because it is "easy" and "fast". I would suspect that Access does the same thing for the same reason.

I'm guessing that once you import the XML structure into Access that you can then go and modify the data types--though that may not be a pleasant experience. This question is probably better asked to Access experts as they may know of some tricks.

If you find anything, let us know!
